Evidence-based practice: theoretical considerations on its implementation in the nursing care in tissue and organ transplantation

The aim of this study is to discuss some theoretical considerations on evidence-based practice and its implementation on the nursing care related to the organ and tissue transplantation as such approach would encourage to introduce changes in practices and conducts whose applications are not supported by the available scientific evidences. This would result in an improvement in the nursing assistance to the health services applied to the transplant procedures as a therapy to treat almost irreversible organ and tissue diseases that have no other kind of treatments.
