Configuration of the transplantation system in the state of Bahia: hues

Abstract

Purpose: Aiming to improve the structure of the State Program of Transplantation of Organs and Tissues to attain better results, it is joining a Coordinator in the State System of Transplantation, whose knowledge and experience has been helped to add a positive changing in the system. Upon this fact, this article aims to describe the changes in the current transplantation system in Bahia. Despite the difficulties found, the system configuration has been successfully implemented fulfilling the intended purpose, which is to offer the best quality health services to the population.
